Yes, physical therapy and physiotherapy are terms used interchangeably and it usually depends on the country of practice. In Canada, we use physiotherapy.

Though there are several conditions treatment that is overlapped by the services provided by the chiropractors and physiotherapists however, the difference lies between the delivery of the treatment. Chiropractors use their hands and tools to get the joint adjustments to ensure alignment is correct whereas, physiotherapists use manipulation of muscles and joint mobilization techniques to tackle the pain and condition. There are cases where both; chiropractors and physiotherapists can work together to get to the condition.

The length of a physiotherapy session can vary depending on the patient's condition and needs. Generally, an assessment session can last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. You can book your assessment and treatment session here.

Patients should wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement and bring any relevant medical records or reports to the session. It is also important to communicate any concerns or questions with the physiotherapist before and during the session. We welcome any questions or concerns you have! 🙂

The number of physiotherapy sessions required will depend on your condition and needs. Our physiotherapist will work with you to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your specific goals and needs.
